{Bridge Street Chapel Wedding // Erin + Steven}

{lansing, michigan // june 2020}

Erin + Steven

Erin’s favorite memory of the day: Taking off that heavy and hot dress at the end of the night! (Kidding! ... mostly.) In addition to the entire ceremony, I loved hugging each one of our guests afterwards while dismissing rows, my cousins' baby blowing me kisses during dinner, and doing The Twist with my Grandpa on the dance floor!

Steven’s favorite memory of the day: Standing at the altar, the double doors open, and I see Erin standing there.

Honeymoon location and activities: We spent three days in the Traverse City area, spent 4 days with Erin's family at the cottage in the UP, and spent 2 days on Mackinac Island. Highlights were lots of time on the beach (with killer sunburns), tubing with family, biking, kayaking, wineries, breweries, a hot air balloon ride, parasailing, and lots of great food!

Ceremony Venue: Bridge Street Chapel | Reception Venue: Hope Sports Complex | Getting Ready Location: Private Residence | Florist: WoodlandFlowerCo | Reception Music: Music Unlimited | Dessert: CortneyGirls’s Cake Closet | Bridal Gown: The Dowry Bride | Groom Suit: The Black Tux | Shoes: Kate Spade | Rings: Sweet Custom Jewelry | Invitations: Zazzle

{Milwaukee Engagement // Larua + Daniel}

{milwaukee, wi // december 2019}

Laura + Daniel are Michigan natives who are living in Milwaukee for work. They’ve been together for 6 years and Daniel decided to propose in Maui on the beach! They love their cat, Barclay, and finding new craft beers and wines.

I traveled Milwaukee for the first time yesterday to take Laura + Daniel’s engagement photos. The session started at the Saint Kate hotel for a quick drink to loosen up and warm up a bit. We decided to brace the 20 degree weather and head outside. We walked around the block to the Pabst Theater, which had the prettiest doors. Then we looped back around the other side of the Saint Kate to one of the many bridges in the city. On the back of the building was a cute little balcony where the sun was hitting beautifully.

We knew we didn’t have much sunlight left, so we took a drive down to the water. There was a great view of the skyline. We also couldn’t pass up taking photos in front of the Milwaukee Art Museum. The art museum has wings that open from the sides twice a day.

Thank you Laura + Daniel for giving me the chance to come to Milwaukee and can’t wait for next October!

{Brown Bridge Quiet Area Engagement // Jesy + Jonas}

{traverse city, michigan // october 2019}

Jesy + Jonas were the winners of my giveaway! They wanted to do their session at the Brown Bridge Quiet area and I’m super glad they did. It was so beautiful! We had a little bit of every type of weather it seemed. Started out with some clouds, then a bit of sun, rained for a couple minutes, and out came a rainbow. I don’t think I could’ve asked for a cuter couple and pupper.

{Silver Lake Sand Dunes Engagement // Danielle + Luke}

{mears, mi // october 2019}

Danielle + Luke are some of the best people! We met at Golden Sands Golf + Bucket Bar where they are getting married next August to start their engagement photos. We got a personal chauffeur, the owner and couple’s friend’s son, to take us around on their side by side. We only had a little bit of time to get over to the dunes from there. Danielle + Luke spend a lot of time at the dunes. You can probably tell from the photo of Luke kissing his truck. They have a YouTube channel as well where you can check out his sweet truck in action! Right after the last photos were taken, I was taken for a ride and I was definitely not disappointed!

Their wedding in August can’t come soon enough!
