{Lovers // Stacy + Cam}

{traverse city, mi // october 2019}

Stacy + Cam are super cute and super goofy when they are together. I got the pleasure of meeting Stacy a little over a year ago through some mutual friends. And I’m glad I got that opportunity because she is a good friend now.

Our adventure started out in Lake Ann. It was a bit windy so we changed our minds and heading to the Covered Bridge near Lake Ann. Cam drove his Mustang because he wanted pictures of them and the car. Men and their cars, I tell ya. Then we headed over to Jakob’s Corn Maze, which belongs to some of Stacy’s family.

{Northern Michigan Wedding // Tia + Patrick}

{mio, michigan // october 2019}

I’ve known Tia + Patrick for a while. They were both just 2 grades below me in school. I was excited when Tia reached out to me to photograph their wedding. Come to find out that it was on my birthday! Fast forward a couple months to their big day, I drove up from downstate as I had a wedding the day before. Luckily Mio is my hometown and my grandparents still live there so I had somewhere to finish getting ready before heading out for the day.

I pull up to the hair salon and the girls are raring and ready to go! It was a bit chilly out so we tried to not spend a lot of time outside. After a couple photos with the girls, we headed to the venue. The ceremony was small but very personal. The giant fall tree as their backdrop was gorgeous. Then they became husband and wife.

The reception was when the crazy fun started to happen. Scott, the best man, and Patrick used to wrestle in school so obviously you can’t not have fake wrestling at your wedding. I felt like almost anytime I turned around, someone was fake kicking or punching someone else. But that’s what boys do. And that’s what makes the best memories.

{Graham Banquet Center Wedding // Emily + Bradley}

{laingsburg, michigan // october 2019}

Emily and Brad are the cutest high school sweethearts. They ran cross country together and even played in the band together. Watching marvel movies and documentaries are what they like doing in their free time. They absolutely love Qdoba and chips and salsa in general.

Brad proposed in the sweetest way. He decided to take her disc golfing where they grew up. When he dropped her off, they said goodbye and she started to walk up the driveway. But little did she know that what he was about to do next would change her life forever. He yelled “Emily, you forgot something!” so she turned back around the corner and he was down on one knee. She couldn’t believe what she was seeing. And of course she said YES! And in that exact spot was where they had their first kiss exactly 6 years before.
